The functional design is intended for performance applications and also provides an aggressive custom appearance.

CONSTRUCTION

This is an aftermarket fiberglass/FRP performance hood. Comparable AmeriHood Ram Air hoods for the 2014-2018 GMC Sierra 1500 are constructed from hand-laid fiberglass and resin and utilize the factory hood hinges and latch for installation.

The hood comes unpainted/primer-ready and will require preparation, primer, and paint before installation.

INSTALLATION

The hood is designed to utilize the factory hood hinges and latch. Professional installation is recommended.

Because fiberglass body panels require proper preparation and alignment, the hood should be dry-fitted before sanding, priming, and painting.

Factory hardware, hinges, and latch may be required for installation depending on the exact manufacturer and configuration.

CONDITION

Brand new, never used or installed.

The hood shown is in primer-white/white gel-coat condition and is ready for preparation and paint. Minor surface imperfections from manufacturing or storage may require normal body-shop preparation before painting.

Please inspect the hood carefully before installation.

MANUFACTURER / PART NUMBER

The exact manufacturer and part number are not visible in the supplied photograph.

The hood design is consistent with aftermarket GMC Sierra 1500 Ram Air hoods from manufacturers such as AmeriHood. The exact manufacturer’s part number for this particular hood should be verified from the manufacturer’s label or packaging before being represented as a specific branded product.

IMPORTANT FITMENT INFORMATION
